What's Been Happening: Since around August, things have been difficult. Business challenges in Canada, personal family issues, and the compounding stress of running multiple operations have taken their toll. I'll be direct: I've experienced a mental breakdown over the past few months, something I've never dealt with before in nearly 20 years of doing this.
The Reality of Running These Services: Here's something that needs to be said: RN Avenue has never been profitable. It was never meant to be a money-maker. The goal was to centralize all my products and services into one location with unified support to make things easier for members. The costs are substantial. Hosting a million-person email list on a legitimate provider costs upwards of $20,000 per month, and that doesn't even include the actual mailing. My email infrastructure includes hundreds of rotating IPs, multiple MTAs, and systems I've built over years. When you pay $500, $1,000, or even $2,500, that's truly just skin in the game—I'm spending far more on my end hoping you'll stick around and find success.
The Chargeback Problem: What's been devastating is the wave of chargebacks and disputes. When someone uses my service for months, even a year, and then disputes the charge, it doesn't just take back their payment—it costs me thousands in services already provided plus dispute fees and exchange rate losses (I'm in Canada). This has ruined merchant accounts and damaged the business significantly. If you're upset about something, reach out. Communicate. Don't just file a chargeback after using the service. That's not how legitimate business works, and it hurts everyone involved.
What's Changing: I'm stepping back from internet marketing. I'm turning off all my CPM funnels, pay-per-lead campaigns, and media buying accounts. After years as one of the top media buyers, I'm not seeing what I need to see anymore in this market. However, Earn Avenue will continue operating. Despite costing me thousands monthly, I'm keeping it running for all existing members. Anyone who purchased Partner or Stack packages will continue to receive full service. The traffic systems I've built over the years will keep running—these are established funnels that continue generating quality traffic and subscribers.
A Warning About This Market: If you're just getting into internet marketing in 2025, pay attention: this market is extremely challenging right now. If you're down to your last dollars, get out immediately. Don't buy products on JVZoo, ClickBank, or anywhere else. This business requires capital to succeed, despite what the "get rich quick" promoters tell you.
Moving Forward: I'm being honest because that's what I've always done. I'm not abandoning anyone, but I've had to step back from coaching and mentoring while dealing with these personal and business challenges. It makes no sense to provide guidance when I'm not in the right headspace. Going forward, any disputes or chargebacks result in immediate account termination with no chance of reinstatement. If you use a service and then take the money back, you're stealing from someone who spent far more providing that service. I'm done tolerating it.
Final Thoughts To the members who've stuck with me through the years: I appreciate you more than you know. We're going to be fine. I always find a path to success—I just need to get there.
